In celebrating the success of the 1967 Referendum, we are remembering ... brave men and women who believed they should work with the First Australians and help them to take their rightful place in the community.

The 1967 Referendum was a vote to end discrimination against Indigenous Australians in the Australian Constitution. Across the country the vote was overwhelmingly "yes", and so the referendum represents a landmark in relations between Indigenous and non-Indigenous Australia. Find out all about it here.
